  i threw things out i thought that they might have a nest in.

  I have been out of the watchtower since 83.

  For all practical purposes they didnt have computers as we know them back then.

  So If that is the watchtowers belief today, I doubt it was then.

  I didnt get it from the watchtower.

  Yesterdays watchtower corporation is not todays watchtower corporation.

  I really don't know what the watchtower in the 21st century believes.

  I know they were wrong about everything they preached about in the 20th century.

  I got the idea from a book I read.

  I think it was called ancient aliens.

  But its just one unfounded opinion to the next.

  Nothing provable.

  Call it a theory. Or possibility.

  this is not meant to be a slag off the bible thread.. i had a question asked me the other day and it was: 'do you live by anything from the bible?'.

  i had to think about that one because i was force grown in the filthy, disgusting cult of the paedophile loving watchtower(r).. you know what?

  i really don't know if i just naturally am a great bloke or if any 'nice' bits in the bible influenced me......or has western culture been influenced by the bible for good and bad?.

  Another 2 cent possibility is that all our thoughts everything that goes through our brain/mind

  goes directy to God.

  God is at a big computer where we are all pluged into.

  And he takes in all our data to his hard drive. To be dealt with latter.

  That 2 cents worth would change the first 2 cents worth explanation of the aura.

  But would explain how God created us for his pleasure and amusement.

  I guess we are all waiting to see what God does with his toys when he is done playing with them.

  If you are strictly a materialist and that is your only black and white JW like view of life,

  Then conciousness ends with the death of the body.

  Go for it.

  But I do appreciate the materialist.

  I appreciate eveyone and everything.

  And by comparing notes, weighing and evaluating, I shape my view of this journey,

  My 2 cents.

  The body is surrounded by an aura.

  The aura contains all the pertinant data of the body, knowledge and experience

  in an aura format, which we do not understand at this time.

  When the aura and body combine it is like

  a c/d and c/d player combining,

  a record and record player combining,

  a mp3 file and a media player combining.

  When the body dies the aura goes back to God or some God like entity or repository.

  For use at a latter date and time.

  i am sure this topic has probably been discussed many times before but,......... i would like reassurance that i am not the only one who gagged every time i heard a jw pontificating on their fantasy version of what "paradise" will be like.

  particularly when it comes to the animals.

  more specifically, that the animals will all become vegetarians.

  I was born in and that is what I knew and was taught.

  The other children were taught and believed they were going to heaven.

  There were no atheist that I knew of back in the 50's.

  I'm sure there were, but it was a world before the information age.

  I did start to doubt all things Jehovahs witness on January 1976 and from that date on

  the house of cards came cascading down.
